Job Title: Business Development Director – Broker Channel (Working Capital Lending)
Location: Hybrid to San Diego, Atlanta, or Orlando
Base Salary: $140K-220K, plus performance Bonus

Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy Broker Channel Business Development Partner to build broker relationships, growing deal flow, and shaping the future of our partner channel. The Business Development Partner will identify broker channel partners that align with overall strategy and drive origination volume growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard independent brokers (ISOs), MCA shops, and financial referral partners.
- Build and manage a high-performing portfolio of producing broker relationships.
- Create and execute a strategic outreach plan targeting key broker segments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for broker partners, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular check-ins and training to keep brokers engaged, informed, and aligned with our products.
- Act as a trusted advisor to brokers — helping them structure deals for success.
- Drive consistent and quality deal submissions through broker partners.
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations to accelerate turnaround times and maximize approvals.
- Analyze pipeline data to identify trends and opportunities for deeper engagement.
- Develop broker-facing materials, presentations, and training content in partnership with marketing.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, broker events, and networking opportunities.
- Work closely with sales leadership to forecast channel performance and identify growth levers.
Qualifications:
- 4–8 years in business development, partnerships, or sales in financial services.
- Prior experience working in or selling to the MCA, ISO, equipment finance, or alt lending broker channel is a must.
- Proven success in building a book of active broker partners and generating consistent deal flow.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High EQ and a solutions-oriented mindset — you're a natural problem-solver.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partners and deals simultaneously.
- Comfortable with CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and sales enablement platforms.
- Entrepreneurial spirit — you enjoy building things from the ground up.
- Highly responsive and service-oriented.
- Adaptable and collaborative in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
